We make every effort to provide you with the best services in a pleasant, friendly and homely atmosphere at all times. We strive for your complete satisfaction to provide a safe and secure journey to the best of our ability without any misunderstandings between your good-selves, Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate and the tour escorts. We believe in forgiveness, gratitude, positive attitude and innovation and at times even go beyond legal formats to ensure that all the issues of guest/s are resolved in timely and friendly manner. You are requested to read, understand and sign in acceptance all the Terms and Conditions before you register yourself / family / friends for our tour as a 'Guest' to use our services.

BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS
Your booking request has to be made in writing and a 30% deposit is required. The balance has to be remitted at least 60 days prior to safari commencement or in cash upon arrival.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
The Cancellation Policies listed below apply to all reservations unless the tour booked has specific rates or fees listed under "Special Notes." Please carefully review the "Special Notes" of your tour prior to booking. Please know that Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate will always adhere to person tour policies when applicable.

  8-14 Days Prior to Departure Date

   50% of payment is refunded 

  15-29 Days Prior to Departure Date

   75% of payment is refunded

 30 or More Days Prior to Departure Date

   90% of payment is refunded

 

• Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the day it is received by Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate and travel service start date.
• All cancellations must be made directly with Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate
•. For refunds processed by wire transfer, any associated wire transfer fee will be deducted from the overall refund amount.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS
You are required to ensure that your passport and travel documentation is in order and that you have obtained the necessary visas for your journey. Should you require assistance on this matter we will be pleased to make recommendations. Visa is obtained in all Tanzania Airport, and Borders on entry.
International/Domestic Flight/Air Bookings:
Reconfirmation of flight bookings is the responsibility of the traveler. As tour arrangements may be booked to connect with international and domestic Air flights it is your responsibility to keep us updated as to your flight times and numbers.

Conduct

Damages or losses incurred by a traveller will be the sole responsibility of the individual member and/or the group. No refunds will be made and no expenses will be incurred by Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate. should a participant’s involvement be changed or cancelled as the result of misconduct.

 Travel Insurance
Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate does not provide travel insurance therefore the client must obtain travel insurance from their home country with the minimum recommended medical, evacuation, and repatriation coverage covering all applicable dates of any travel with Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate and this insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. It is strongly recommended that clients also extend their coverage to include cancellation and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring to the client. The cost of the tour does not include any insurance coverage for the client, and that the client is required to obtain separate coverage at an additional cost to the tour price.
HOW TO CANCEL A RESERVATION

  • We will process your cancellation/refund request within one to ten business days.
  • Subsequently, the cancellation must be sent in in writing via email and / or confirmed with the operator of to Kilimanjaro Trekking Mate.
  • Please explain why you are requesting a cancellation.
